Four public affairs consultancies start pan-European cooperation

Four leading European public affairs and communication consultancies are starting a new European cooperation within the international More Agencies network. NITID Corporate Affairs (Spain), Castro (Benelux), Euros / Agency Group (France) and Engaging Consulting (Portugal) will work more closely together on selected lobbying and public affairs projects.

Four public affairs consultancies start pan-European cooperation

The cooperation offers existing and new clients easier access to local expertise in multiple European countries and Brussels. In the coming year, agencies from other countries that share our high standards are welcome to join this European public affairs project. Each firm remains fully independent, keeps its own brand and client base, and is free to work with other international partners.

Strong local partners, flexible cooperation

“More Agencies has chosen to work with strong local partners. Our clients get the best of both worlds: European reach combined with truly local knowledge and relationships. After the success of our collaboration among communication agencies, we are pleased that several public affairs consultancies have decided to cooperate more closely as well,” said Pablo Binkowski, CEO of More Agencies. More Agencies now includes 26 agencies, serving over 600 clients from 35 locations worldwide.

Daniel Ureña, President of NITID Coporate Affairs (Madrid/Brussels) and President of the Public Affairs Network, said: “Influence in Europe and within our own countries only works if you deeply understand each nation’s political and social context. Large international firms often have a big name, but lack genuine local knowledge and strong networks. This cooperation is built precisely on those strengths.”

Stefan de Bruijn, Managing Partner of Castro (Amsterdam/Brussels): “The European agenda increasingly shapes what happens at national level. NITID, Euros, Engaging and Castro already work for similar clients and face many of the same challenges. We’re starting with closer cooperation in technology, industry, energy and defence, sharing expertise, strengthening networks and co-hosting policy events wherever this adds value for our clients.”

Jonathan Bros, Vice President of Euros / Agency Group (Paris/Brussels): “We are pleased to participate in this new project: a way to cooperate with trusted partners on specific clients and mandates, while keeping our own identity and the freedom to work with other international partners when appropriate.”

Tiago Franco, Managing Partner of Engaging Consulting (Lisbon): “Communication and public affairs are, at their core, about relationships. Through this European cooperation we can, when it makes sense for clients, leverage each firm’s connections, knowledge and influence.”

A network of independent leaders
