Policy events

We develop strategic policy events that bring together content, timing, form and experience to powerfully communicate your story and position it impactfully, with support from our in-house event agency for an execution that is right down to the last detail.

Area of expertises

Those who want political influence must also be strategically visible. A good policy event can make all the difference, provided it goes beyond the classic panel or the predictable networking drink. Because Brussels and Strasbourg already have an incredible amount of those.

Castro EU develops policy events that do more than inform. Our events bring together content, timing, form and experience to get your message to the right people. Not as a stand-alone activity, but as part of a broader strategy for influencing and positioning.

From private high-level meetings to creative formats with public character, we custom design each event to suit the purpose, moment and target audience. We combine our content and strategic expertise with the power of our in-house event agency (New Balls Please), a rarity among lobbying firms. As a result, not only the content is right, but also the execution to perfection.

We work for organizations that want to communicate their story powerfully, without compromising on content or quality. A policy event by Castro is not an afterthought, but a strategic moment that increases influence.

Want to anchor your story in an event that makes an impact and stays with you? Castro EU shows you what is possible.

Case study: The 2024 EU Election Debate: political momentum in the spotlight

In April, Castro EU organized the EU Election Debate 2024 together with Johnson & Johnson, MSD and Amgen. In the run-up to the European Parliament elections, we brought together four candidate MEPs at the Brussels Square Convention Centre for a substantively interesting and professionally produced debate on topics that matter: innovation, healthcare, sustainability and Europe’s competitiveness.

Featuring Gerben-Jan Gerbrandy (D66), Dirk Gotink (NSC), Jessika van Leeuwen (BBB) and Lennart Salemink (VVD) as speakers, it became a level debate, led by Frits Wester and co-presented by Frits Huffnagel. Not only for the room full of policy professionals, but also online via the livestream: for maximum visibility inside and outside the Brussels bubble. For weeks afterwards, the debate was broadcast in full by NPO Politics.

The result: a substantively strong debate at the right moment in the campaign, with high visibility for our clients’ themes and a strategic contact moment with the next generation of decision-makers in the European Parliament.

A policy event as it was meant to be: tightly organized, substantively relevant and right at the intersection of politics, industry and timing.
